Lectures and seminars KI-MAX IV Exchange Dialogue 2025

Welcome to a one-day dialogue meeting between Karolinska Institutet scientists and beamline experts from MAX IV on 27 November 2025, KI Campus Solna.

Together, we will explore how MAX IV’s advanced synchrotron techniques can complement the methods you already use and help push your research further. As a national facility, access to MAX IV for academic research is free.

Themes

• Proteins: Crystallography, SAXS, XAS, Time-resolved studies
• Cells: XRF Imaging, STXM, Ptychography, IR Spectromicroscopy
• Tissues: WAXS, Ultrafast X-ray Imaging, Phase Contrast micro-tomography

The meeting is preceded by three online pre-meetings on each theme, during which you have the opportunity to share your current research questions and challenges, as well as explore how MAX IV can support your research goals.

The pre-meeting on the theme ‘Proteins’ was held on 25 June 2025. The next pre-meeting on the Cell Science theme will be held on 2 October 2025.

We expect to hold the premeeting on ‘Tissues’ theme in the last week of October, before the on-site dialogue day on 27 November 2025.
