Welcome to a course hosted by Centre for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CBB), covering basic concepts of biostatistics. The course is held November 21st to 25th 2022 at Campus Flemingsberg.

About the course

The course is centered on the fundamentals of regression analysis, with a focus on applied analyses using real data - with the option to bring your own data! A chance to learn and interact. The target audience are active researchers at Karolinska Institutet / Karolinska University Hospital, with some experience in working with data that require statistical analyses. Knowledge in some kind of statistical software is recommended to maximize knowledge gain but not required (e.g. STATA, R, SPSS). Please note that no formal credit points (högskolepoäng) will be received.

The course will take place at Campus Flemingsberg from Monday November 21 to Friday 25, 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm (every day) and physical presence is mandatory. The course is free of charge. Registration is done through the registration form and by sending the signed certification to cbb@ki.se. The certification should be signed by your supervisor/manager who confirms the applicant’s attendance at the course.

Registered participants not attending the course will be charged 3000 kr.
